About VHF/UHF contesting VHF/UHF contesting is a competition for radio amateurs. The participating stations try to achieve as much connections to distant stations as possible within a defined period of time. In order to avoid redundant informations, conversation is limited on exchange of few data only like call sign, report, reference number and location.
