I have been licensed as OE7CWJ in 1978 and enjoyed periods of activity mixed with some absences from the hobby. Today the favorite bands are above 28MHz with various rigs and antennas.

My job entails frequent travelling which means I'm often not too active from the home QTH in Vienna, Austria. If the schedule allows, I try to participate operating on VHF/UHF contests. Currently, my main interests are VHF/UHF-DX and QRP operation, nevertheless life is too short for qrp only. I occasionally also take my FT817 abroad being on business trips and have operated from various countries.
